The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School seeks an outgoing, friendly, energetic full-time Office Assistant to join our team.  Some weekend and evening work is required.

RWB School Office Assistants provide excellent customer service to our students and the general public on the myriad of programming and classes we offer.  Office Assistants work with our students and prospective students in person, over the phone and through electronic formats while assisting with ongoing administrative projects during scheduled shifts.   

Strong customer service and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to problem solve and work independently within mandated projects.  The successful candidate will have extensive experience in an administrative environment and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.  Ability to quickly learn new software applications in a hands-on environment is required.  Interested applicants should have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented and enjoy the challenge of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced multi-project setting.  Knowledge of dance and dance education would be an asset.

This position requires the successful completion of a criminal record and child abuse registry check.

Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School seeks an energetic & outgoing person as a full-time Registrar. This position reports to the School Office Supervisor and will work closely with other school staff in matters pertaining to the effective delivery of all School programming.  The Registrar will primarily be responsible for the administration of all aspects of student registration, including preparation and distribution of materials, fee payment collection and processing and other aspects of student account maintenance within the Professional Division, but will support all School activities as appropriate.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and financial management skills.  An ability to work independently and be able to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines in a busy office environment is essential.  Must be proficient in working with PC computers and Microsoft Office programs and possess an ability to quickly learn new applications as required.  The candidate will be well organized and detail oriented while demonstrating an understanding of sound customer service practices.  Occasional evening and weekend work may be required throughout the school year.  Candidates who are fluent in French may be given preference.  Previous experience working with students and knowledge of dance would be an asset.
