Facilities

RWB Building
At the centre of the RWB School’s campus in historic downtown Winnipeg is a state-of-the-art facility designed and built specifically for dance. The building contains 10 spacious, sprung-floor studios including a 150-seat performance space.

The RWB building becomes a hub of activity during the school year for students and professional dancers. The RWB Company rehearses in the building during its season and students regularly have the opportunity to interact with professional dancers and observe RWB Company rehearsals. RWB School students enjoy their own dressing rooms in the main building with lockers, showers and a comfortable lounge complete with washer, dryer, microwave and Internet access.

Students also have full access to on-site medical staff, massage therapist and physiotherapist.

Residence
Committed to providing appropriate and affordable housing for its students, the RWB School residence is a secure and comfortable home away from home. The residence is under 24-hour supervision by RWB School staff and qualified counselors are on the premises to provide guidance.

Linked by a skywalk to the main building, the residence offers both safety and convenience for students. It provides permanent housing for up to 60 students between the ages of 10 and 18 who live in suites with double or quad occupancy.

It also houses a dining room where the RWB School head chef and his staff provide outstanding and nutritious meals for students.

The residence is located within walking distance from libraries, museums, theatres and art galleries, where students also have access to Winnipeg’s thriving arts community.
