| Teacher Training Program The Teacher Training Program is an intensive course designed to enrich knowledge and provide skills required for a career in dance education. Students study elements of technique to develop their ability to teach dance with confidence and sensitivity. The program is offered as a three-year course but applicants with a professional background may be eligible to graduate within two years. The program can facilitate the training of recreational and professional teachers, depending upon an applicant’s aptitude and experience. The University of Winnipeg, Faculty of Education will recognize the work completed by graduates of the RWB School Teacher Training Program allowing them to designate dance as a teachable minor within a B.Ed from the U of W. Those interested in auditioning for the Teacher Training Program must do so from June 30 - July 19, 2008. Placement day is June 29, 2008. Applicants must have completed their grade 12 education.
